This Friday 5th May sees the start of the Age Group Road Nationals and we have a big team of approx 73 riders racing across the three days.

Thursday evening is the Managers meeting where I will be collecting all race numbers and transponders plus getting any new info that needs to be filtered back to the riders. Over the three days, I will set up a “base” where you can come and collect your numbers and transponders and receive any info that is relevant.

We have previously requested contact details for all riders who are racing at the event, (Thank You to those who have replied), but there are still quite a few who haven’t responded. You need to give me a contact mobile number and licence number by Thursday evening please.......it will not be my job to come chasing after people before they race. If I have a contact number then I will try and get in touch at least half an hour before your race if you haven’t already collected your number!! **Important**  - You must race in club kit! If you only have a jersey then you must wear PLAIN black shorts... any logos on the shorts must be covered up. If you are unsure then come and speak to me before you race.

If you manage to place in your respective race then you MUST wear your kit to the podium. If you are late to the podium or don’t turn up at all you will be liable for a fine!!

Cycling New Zealand Road and Track rules apply for this event.......a maximum of 6.0M rollout for all U15 riders, a maximum of 7.0M rollout for all U17 riders and a maximum of 7.93M rollout for all U19 road events!! Open gears for all age grades above this.

 U17 riders are permitted to have clip on handlebar extensions for the Time Trial. U15 riders are not allowed any modifications i:e no clip on bars allowed!! Composite (carbon) wheels are only allowed in U19 and above categories!!
